Snip has spent his life running from his sins. Haunted by the blood of his best friend—the would-be king of Locusmons—all that is left of his life is exile. But fate intervenes when he stumbles upon Maggea, a woman entangled in dark magic, in the midst of summoning a daemon. When the creature escapes Maggea forces Snip to join her to send him back to Inferioum.

As Snip descends into Maggea’s world, he learns of an ancient prophecy that binds them all. Two figures—The Condemner and The Redeemer—hold the fate of the world between them, and a mysterious boy under Maggea’s care might be the key. Yet, the more Snip comes to care for this boy, the clearer his own role in the prophecy becomes. And the more he fears the man he knows exists within himself.

Snip comes to face an impossible choice: to save the world he never deserved or embrace the one thing he’s come to love, even if it leads him—and everyone else—into darkness.
